The Three Riddles

Riddle I

Twice consumed by fire, yet never defeated.

Like the legendary bird for which it is named, it rose again each time from ash and ruin.

Listen for music where flames once reigned, and claim the final secret from the house that refuses to die.

Riddle II

Where plague once cast its shadow, the faithful gathered beneath a saint's protection.

The walls became a canvas, the ceilings a book of painted light.

Seek the brotherhood whose treasure was neither gold nor silver, but masterpieces suspended overhead.

There the number awaits.

Riddle III

Seek the throne that was never a throne.

Its rulers wore no crown, yet governed an empire of sea and stone.

Pink marble guards its secrets, while prisoners crossed a final bridge with little hope of return.

Find the house of the republic's master, and the key shall reveal itself.
